Stay Healthy This Holiday Season!
What!? It’s December can you believe it? Yikes 2021 went fast! Sooooo, as we’re in the middle of holiday season, don’t you think it’s more important than ever to be conscious of staying healthy? Whether you’re working remotely, on-site or a combination of both remember to eat healthy and stay active. I know especially when I’m working from home it’s hard not to hit the fridge in between phone calls. Keep your (home or work) fridge stocked with healthy snacks that include lean protein, healthy fats and complex carbs like fruit, (real) cheese, nuts, vegetables and whole grain breads/crackers for a healthy handful! And be sure to move around. Even a 15 minute brisk walk around the neighborhood at work or home is better than staying in your chair. Or if you’re super adventurous try a pre-work hike or a walking meeting! These things will keep you energized, boost your immune system and will help you avoid putting on holiday pounds.
