EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH

Our June Employee of the Month is Mark Laux.  His manager had this to say about him, “Mark is extremely reliable. He arrives at work the same time every day; and he focuses on the tasks at hand and works steadily at them all day long. Mark is not afraid to ask questions or to bring issues he encounters to the staff for resolution. Mark is very personable, and he works well with the other team members. HOLIDAY – July 4th

Our office will be closed on Monday, July 4th in observance of the July 4th Holiday.

 Time sheets are due Tuesday, July 5th by 9:00am.

We strongly suggest that you submit your time sheet at the end of your work week.  This also allows your supervisor more time to approve it!  If time sheets are not received by 9:00 am on Tuesday, July 5th, your paycheck will not be processed until the following week.

REFERRALS

Specialized is always looking for good people and you can help!  Research has shown, and our own experience supports this, new hires that come into a company through employee referrals are excellent contributors and stay with the company longer.  That is where you come in!

In our experience, some of our best Candidates are currently working and they just want to be made aware of job opportunities.  If you know someone who would be a good addition to Specialized and they meet the qualifications for an existing open job, you will receive a **$100 Gift Card if you refer them for employment and they are hired!

PAYSTUBS AND W-2s

We NO longer physically mail W2’s. We will upload all W-2’s to the Intuit Workforce website (the same site weekly paystubs are uploaded to).

2022 W-2’s will be uploaded to the website by January 31, 2023.

If you are a new employee that started this month and/or have NOT registered with Intuit, it is

Very important to register on the website NOW to have access to your paystubs and next year’s W-2 information.  For new employees, you will receive a time sensitive email from Intuit, the Tuesday following your first week of employment to register and have access to your paystubs and next year’s W-2 information.  W-2s are not mailed out.

If your Intuit email has expired, please contact us and we will send you a new email that expires 24 hours after receiving, to register and have access to your paystubs and your W-2s.

REMINDERS

If you are planning a vacation or have scheduled appointments that we are not aware of, please call or send us an email at Info@TheBestWorkWithUs.com so that we can make a note of them and ensure your current assignment contacts are also aware.

Summer has arrived with very warm weather, please remember to dress appropriately, and adhere to the company’s dress code.  Also, remember that cell phones should not be used during scheduled work hours.

Please remember to complete your on-line time sheet and submit when you have completed your work week.  This will give your time sheet approvers sufficient time to approve your time sheet by the 1:00 pm Monday deadline.

Hiring Managers:

What’s your first reaction when you miss out on the awesome candidate you really felt good about because your interview process took too long in comparison to another company who got to the point of an offer faster?

  • COMPLACENCY: “I get it. That’s just what the market is like right now and there’s not much I can do about it. He / She was a desirable candidate and I’m not surprised they didn’t last long on the market. I wish them the best of luck. Let’s keep looking.”

OR

  • FRUSTRATION: “I’m so ticked off! We’re missing out on the good ones. They keep getting other offers before we  come to a decision. Now we’re back to square one.”

What type of hiring manager to you want to be? (I know what type we want you to be – And the type that candidates want you to be;  Someone who at least tries to do something differently to change the outcome).

Think outside of the box on how you can speed up your interview process – Or choose to do nothing different and hope for better results.  The problem with the latter is, here at Specialized our vision is “Success for Everyone” and in our experience, doing nothing different and hoping for better results leads to success for no-one.
